Re: Isocort replacement? Is there Another good natural desiccated thyroid Product out there?

That's exactly what I read and why I'm confused! I thought maybe you know something I don't. I never said that HC made my candida worse. I was just pointing out that I am very suspicious of whether it is contributing to my current candida resistance. I attribute it to biofilms, and I am currently addressing that. Cortisone does inhibit the immune system but that is in very HIGH doses. At this point, I am not sure whether the actual HC formulation can contribute to candida growth - just like Sugar would.

I had very bad AF since 2008. It didn't become stage 3D (according to Lam's website), until May of 2012. That is when I was bedbound and couldn't move, but I was in the late stages of healing my gut at that point! It took soo much out of me chelating, taking antifungals/gut healing herbs, and detoxing via sweating and enemas. What I will tell you is this - as soon as I found something to support my adrenals after I crashed, killing the candida became much easier. The HC picked me up 10%, but that's it. I tried isocort and other things but it never stabilized me like HC did. I was on 20mg for like 10 months, and 30 mg for a month (too high a dose and made me crash).

At this point I'm looking for an alternative to HC. I'm on 8.75 mg and want to wean off just in case the actual formulation is feeding the candida. I went down to about 3.75 mg and I was soo weak the journey was going no where. As soon as I find enough support for my adrenals and remove the internal stressor, I can then finally just focus on regaining my autonomic nervous system/HPA axis/adrenal functioning.
