Re: Iodine and biofilms?
Iodine is not an antibiotic.
Antibiotics kill bacterias en masse, both the beneficial ones and the pathogens that causes the symptoms.
Iodine work in a different way; it does not kill beneficial bacterias in the gut. If it did, we would have been a bunch of people with gut dysbiosis; we are not.
yes;
Iodine gives us some control over the pathogens. But why? how? I know some of the answer; but I would like you all to think a little. We have shown that it doesnt kill yoghurt bacterias, or yeast.
Probiotics; a wast of money and time, IMO. A much better option, is to strengthen the stomach acid (lower it) so that the bacterias are killed in this acid, before they even reach the intestines. No yeast or bacterias survive ph 1-2.
- Problem today is that the stomach acids are to high ph, so it has to let through partly digested (=fermented) food with pathogens still in good shape.
If
Antibiotics taken; bacterias are killed,yes; also your beneficial ones. Your first meal after an
Antibiotic is important.
As here is the PREbiotics; what the intestines use to produce beneficial bacterias; their own PRObiotics.
The probiotics taken as a supplement dont survive the stomach acid, UNLESS the acid is so weak that it cant kill these bacterias.
Then it might have some benefit, that I never had. I have been through every little phase of this, believe me; learned by doing. And it was so expensive, the probiotics. The little effect I ever had was from ACV.
Then you have boron; 3 mg cant possibly deal with after effects of
Antibiotics , or candida, or mycoplasma.
Not even 9 mg, still IMO.
30 mg and we start talking.
