Re: A Must READ! No kidding. Could help.
CLEW,
First off.... Bless You, Bless You, Bless You.
Your post on nematode destroying fungi made ALL the difference.... for me.
No Schidtt.
I thank you and greatly appreciate your presence in this thread.
That 2 dayer could prove very valuable... maybe on the spot.. but if not.... UpLine.
Really.
I will give you some on-the-ground sterile culture tips.
I know all too well the energy/life-force depletion.
As well, I know all too well the, "at my house," situation(s).
My wife has communicated to me that the situation could Kill our marriage......
She is just not ready, at this point, to take a look through a scope, come to grips with, "The Problem."
That could change... and I pray that it will.
Now.
To brass tacks.
Guerilla Sterile Culture.
Baby food jars in place of agar plates.
Agar..... IF you have an Asian supermarket within access you will find agar at a GREATLY CHEAPER PRICE compared to brick and mortar, "health food stores," or online.
A shoebox from Dollar Tree with a hole drilled, stuffed with cotton, to keep the plates/baby food jars as multiplication/growth takes place.
Other things to throw into the mix... well... check out mushroom growing sites.... agar specifically.
And with regard to other ingredients.. remember the Asian Grocery tip... Look To The Packets......
Checking out mushroom growing sites right up will save you a Bunch O' Time.
Inoculation chamber...
This can be made of cardboard.
For a Guerilla culture operation... make it something easily broken down.
Think:
cardboard
plastic
For tools.....
Reference mushroom growing sites.
Last time I looked the info was relatively painless to access.
Wish it were so for some Medical Research Sites.... but the basics just are not there for the layman.
Thankfully, the net can fill that gap.
One more in exiting.....
Lyesol Spray.... The Killer Diller.
Forget about Clorox spray in an inoculation chamber... no matter what you might read..... Lyesol Spray... All The Way.
I'm rambling.
That is the order of the day.... Today.
Hope this helps.
And again, thank you.
And.... Bless You for Sharing.
Really.
