Approaching students from university had crossed my mind, so did maybe taking a microscopy or mycology class to learn stuff, and be around like minded people to share findings with.

There's just too much going on at my house for me to run off and take classes, plus I don't have a whole lot of energy all the time. I did just find a 2 day biological wastewater workshop that might fit the bill... Teaches Filament and organism identification along with info on enzymes and bacteria... Or it could be too much for my brainfrogged brain! It's environmental but we ~are~ part of the environment. What do you think? I don't want to get in over my head...
