You could be experiencing benzo/anti depressant withdrawal in all of this as well considering the combination of meds you have been using, check out wikipedia on benzo withdrawal and benzo buddies forum, might actually explain a few of your symptoms.

Withdrawal can take sometimes many monthes recovery even after short term use. Faith in here had them in hospital for two weeks, she is still recovering from them a couple of months later. CFS/AF is a massive HPA malfunction, and withdrawals are actually complete HPA haywire, so it might explain a few things! I thought i was going insane this time last yuear wondering why I was so sick, but thankfully i foudn the benzo buddies forum which explained it all.

CFS/AF is known to have an aspect of glutamate toxcity, and benzos work on the gaba receptors - once youve been using them a while, the gaba receptors regress, and therefore once the med isnt providing the gaba the body cant do it on its own, so glutamate goes out of control. and glutamate toxicity is like having your mind and body plugged into the mains 24/7. Not pleasant.

It may not be the case at all for you, but could be contributing...
