Adrenal exhaustion - where from here?

Hi there

Its the first time I have posted on an adrenal forum, i usually spend most of my time on fibro / cfs forums...as that is what i have been diagnosed with...have been ill for over a year, with fatigue being my main symptom

About months ago I did a salivary cortisol test and it came back with low results...

Sample 1 - 8.3 (12-22)
Sample 2 - 4.7 (5-9)
Sample 3 - 0.1 (3-7)
Sample 4 - 1.5 (1-3)
tOTAL CORTISOL - 14.6 (21-41)

Total DHEA - 1.68 (2-6)

It says adrenal exhaustion - i got put on adrenal cortex supplements by a nutritional clinic i was with for Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome /ME...I can no longer afford to go with this clinic, so am going at it alone best i can...I had to come off adrenal cortex as they were making me so ill (pain in kidneys and IBS type symptoms)

I did another salivary test after taking them for 3 months and not much difference to above results...

I am in UK so have talked to GP about this, she did take me seriously and did a morning cortisol blood test on me, it was V HIGH 616 nmol (150 - 650 range) i dont get it!!!

So obviously she thinks there is no problem..I am convinced its the cause of my fatigue in my illness

Can i do this alone, as can't afford to see another private doc...I am on vitamin c, vit b complex, multivitamin, magnesium, trying liquorice root and recently I read about Isocort??? Can i get this without a doctor?

Just looking at what to do next really - i have cut caffeine, aspartame, as much Sugar as poss and i eat a healthy balanced diet..I have two small kids and have had to give up work to cope with this
