Dunno, it's got simply a ton of trace minerals and such from being boiled down and boiled down, any carbons would be from the initial burning the harvest the sugarcane.
It'd likely not be the sort of strong absorbent agent like montomorillite clay or activated charcoal supplements.
I suggest finding data on organic blackstrap molasses to enrichen your knooooowledge. ;)
Using it is a bit like taking a more organic form of a trace mineral supplement. Be careful though, it is a Sugar product, so not a replacement for high-c fruits and veg!
