Nascent Iodine was the first form I used in december. It tastes good so you can put it right on your tongue, but its alot weaker than Lugol's and also doesnt have any Iodide - just iodine.. The first time I took it.. 6 drops = 2.7mg i could feel it in my brain. a good feeling. when i first upped my dosage and would take 12 drops i felt a slight detox. very mild headache.. and very very slight fever...fever so slight that a large glass of water got rid of it.. So at the time I felt the Iodine increased my fluid needs.. Anyway.. I didnt notice too much until I took Lugol's about a month later.. felt my body warm up immediately.. and my eyes are never dry.
Im an old fashioned kinda dude so IMO the Lugol's 5% is the way to go. But the nascent is probably a good starter iodine. Im sure the nascent will do fine to help anybody with memory problems.
