Funny that you should ask about Nascent as I was just searching past threads about it. Most of the threads are pretty old and I'm not sure

It sounds like the Iodine in a dose is much smaller, but it sounds like less may be needed.

I'm currently on ~470 SSKI 2% + 50mg Iodoral and seem to be doing pretty well. I still have some issues but they may not be related to an Iodine deficiency. However, I'd be interested in trying Nascent if I can get more into the kids with less being tasted by them. But I'm not getting a clear picture of how much is needed for the same impact as Lugos. Let us know if you find more recent discussions.

Nascent Iodine was the first form I used in december. It tastes good so you can put it right on your tongue, but its alot weaker than Lugol's and also doesnt have any Iodide - just iodine.. The first time I took it.. 6 drops = 2.7mg i could feel it in my brain. a good feeling. when i first upped my dosage and would take 12 drops i felt a slight detox. very mild headache.. and very very slight fever...fever so slight that a large glass of water got rid of it.. So at the time I felt the Iodine increased my fluid needs.. Anyway.. I didnt notice too much until I took Lugol's about a month later.. felt my body warm up immediately.. and my eyes are never dry.

Im an old fashioned kinda dude so IMO the Lugol's 5% is the way to go. But the nascent is probably a good starter iodine. Im sure the nascent will do fine to help anybody with memory problems.
