I agree onedaysoon. Think NB definitely works to an extend (half the story anyway) as parasites/microbials reside in heavy metal toxic bodies. Heavy metals weaken the immune system and these little critters take over. But which exactly came first heavy metals or infections, it's like the egg and chicken senario. Either way, they seem to accompany eachother.

Unfortunately for me, as I was doing quite well on NB, till I got a sudden viral infection a few months ago, that apparently brought out a dormant underlying infection that has been found to be a long term resident in my body, similar to the way EPV works (though I'm not sure I have EPV yet). Anyway, the new virus brought out the "hidden" infection and i compeltely utterly collapsed - to this day!. My body just couldn't handle all the stress from both detoxing from heavy metals and infections going on. And it seems my main issue is that the virus is killing my thyroid - confirmed by specialist who said "your thyroid and body are being attacked by a virus, coming from your gut". He said he could not help my thyroid without fixing the infection as the body is being overwhelmed by infection. And it seems from seeing other doctors, that I not only have viral but seems from my symptoms fungal and parasitic also. I have a whole UN in there!

In realtion to parasites, to date I've done all kinds of things to expose parasitic infection but to no avail, probably because in my case they are the tiny ones that can not be seen by the human eye - eg Giardia (suspected). So it seems i still have a long road ahead.

So like Onedaysoon, I seem to also have an overwhelming infection that can not be effectively resolved with NB alone (as proven by the fact that I've been on it for over a year and back to square one). IMO it really needs a separate treatment to accompany NB and to be honest I find this issue harder than heavy metal detoxing as identifying the exact infection in the first place, is incredibly hard to achieve. NB has definitely helped but to my despair, the good work achieved by NB was imply getting undone each time by my underlying infections - creates a merry go round effect. I was going crazy not understanding why.


PS - i have a theory about allergies also - I find food sensitivies and allergies are a bi-product of infections and toxicity. When I've been well, all my food sensitivities and my various allergies miraculously seem to disappear. AFter all, weak adrenals make you sensitive to most things.
