One of the biggest problems in getting over candida is the fact that in getting better it is necessary to feel worse, at least for a while. Most people assume that if they take a medicine to get cured of something that they will feel better and not worse. Therefore when they take antifungals to treat candida they feel much worse and conclude that the medicine is not working or is counterproductive and abandon treatment. Because candida can extensively colonize the entire intestinal tract (which has a surface area equivalent to a tennis court in adults) the aldehyde, ammonia and other toxins released by die-off is no fun. I actually was glad when I got die-off because I knew it was savaging the yeast. There are certain cacti in the desert that have barbed needles. Just like a fish hook, it has a sharp point on the end and right behind that is a sharp point in the other direction. When you get stuck by one of those you don't pull them out, you push them through. OUCH! I think yeast infection is alot like that. Don't give up or give in, persevere.
