Hi, I am 28 and had the mirena put in in September 2013, after my second baby was born. I started having neuropathy in my extremities, which eventually spread all over. I have experienced numbness throughout and changes in my vision. I have been to a neurologist and had an MRI of the brain to rule out MS. So far, nothing abnormal has shown up. I can barely work and it is difficult to take care of my children due to the immense fatigue, eye pain, headaches, and nausea that I feel constantly. I plan to have the IUD out soon. Hopefully the symptoms will subside. We should educate other woman about the serious risks of the mirena. I would love to hear how everyone is doing post removal of the IUD. Tweet
