Re: Please someone help me I feel like I'm dieing
Which story? Getting off the SSRI's? It was ten years ago. Decided to quit smoking and had heard from others to try Welbutrin. Went to doctor and got scr1pt and started right away. Within one week I was dizzy, felt spaced-out, had hallucinations, bad dreams, panic attacks, muscles would tighten up. Tried to stop the drug and got worse. Went back to doctor who had me taper down and then switched me to Paxil-same thing. He put me on Lorazepam to counter-act the side effects. After jerking me around for 9 months I just stopped cold turkey. Took a month off work, lived with my parents during that time so they could help me take care of my 2 year old and just took supplement, raw fruits and veggies and slept. I had read an internet blog that discussed SSRI withdrawal similar to alcohol/drug withdrawal and I believe it. There were times I had my dad hold and rock me while I shook uncontrollably and I was 34 years old! It took 45 days to finally feel good enough to go back to work full time and live normally.
I know you feel alone-your not. Your family loves you and wants to help but they don't know what to do and that is the frustrating part. It's hard when your in the middle of the illness to see a way out but you can get better if you research, listen to your body and have people like here on Curezone to bounce ideas off of. The doctor you have now will hopefully help guide you.
I do not recommend cold turkey from SSRI's. That was my choice. I think you should try
Lugol's go to
Iodine forum VWT and learn from them first.
I agree with Ron that posted reduction of stimulants for adrenal fatigue and I don't just mean coffee. I had to stop watching TV and stay away from negative situations/people because those things would often overtax my adrenals. I got lots of massages and took hot baths with
Epsom Salt and lavender and tried to focus on healing myself and take the supplements daily. Stay away from
Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) and
Aspartame and other processed foods. Look at maybe a GAPS diet for your digestive issues. All healing starts with the gut-the gut is the immune system.
You are not alone! Take it one day at a time. Positive affirmations of healing I am sending your way.
