Re: Mirena Removed Today 01.03.14

Okay, 4 days past removal. Although I have experienced some relief from the pain in my hips, si joint and legs, I am still experiencing quite a bit of pain. Mostly in the si joint and front of my hips. However, I am sleeping much better and have not experienced pain during sleep since having my mirena removed. Most of my residual pain is when I get up from out of a chair and walking. Pain is all in my hip flexors and si joint where I still feel loose and out of socket. Still having my period...on day 8 of bleeding. Bleeding became heavier after the Mirena was removed. I also feel like my overall mood is better. I don't feel as impatient and easily irritated. I feel more calm and less anxious. I am currently researching a new birth control option. Seems like they are all loaded with potentially similar side effects. I used to take orthotricyclen. I don't recall specific issues with a tri-phasil pill. But I was in my 20s and it was before having babies. I did not fair well with the Nuvaring either. It created the same issues with moodiness, anxiety and depression. I hate to ask my husband to consider a vasectomy. Right now I am practicing abstinence. That cannot be good for my marriage....lol! My poor, poor, patient husband.
