Re: Iodoral and low TSH?
Hello,
I am feeling generally well. If i have symptoms then they're so subtle that I've chalked them down to getting older. At a push i would say that I am finding it a bit harder to weight than I did a few years ago and am perhaps going to bed a little earlier than I used to, but really nothing that noticeable.
I guess I'm feeling that I want to take it one step at a time. I dont want to take supplements that I may not actually need.
In my research it seems that selenium and magnesium are often the most frequently mentioned supplement to take with Iodoral so I'm feeling that I will trial Iodoral (titrating dose up slowly from 6.25mg to 25mg alongside a multivit, 200mcg of Selenium and 400mg of Magnesium as suggested in the article you linked to earlier. I shall report my findings on here and may hopefully get some insight as to what else I may need to take or discard from the regime.
I have also changed my salt to pink Himalayan rock salt and will use that in cooking and sprinkling on food. Realistically I really cant see myself drinking salty water every day.
I'm also in the UK. As a lot of the articles about
Iodine supplementation are American I'm guessing there may be some differences in what I may need as the British diet is probably a bit different from over there. If you're aware of any, I'd be interested in reading any articles about these differences if indeed there are some)
Thanks for the advice,
Melissa
