Re: Iodoral and low TSH?

Why would you want to try to raise your TSH?

Besides, TSH will rise automatically on taking iodine. In fact it can rise so high for so long a time that a doctor who is not familiar with Iodine will think you're becoming hypothyroid.

TSH is useless. You need to know the actual values of your FT3 and FT4.

Iodine is good for fighting nodules. In fact, it's the only thing that works for getting rid of a goiter.

Before you do anything: read a lot on this forum and educate yourself. Grizz has an excellent compilation of info: http://tinyurl.com/iodine-References.

If you want to heal yourself with iodine, you'll have to become your own expert, like we all had to do here. There are very few doctors knowledgeable on this subject. Most doctors are afraid of iodine.

Also, you can go wrong with Iodine alone: Iodine needs selenium and other co factors: read!

Good luck
