Re: Failed Experiment sporanox and sun method disproven.
Sun exposure worked for some people.
Last summer, JSL wrote that the only thing that improved his lips was Sporanox. It also improved my lips, but one must have a fungal infection to see improvement. Since I started a gluten-free diet during treatment, it probably helped my lips heal faster. Keep in mind that you could have a bacteria infection instead of a fungus infection. Also, not all fungus infections respond to Sporanox just like not all bacteria infections respond to all
Antibiotics . However, I think the infections are secondary to the root cause.
Just the other day I was reading that someone cured their
Psoriasis (not specifically on lips) within 3 weeks by taking 12,000 mg of vitamin D per day. This treatment reminds me the sun treatment. Although it sounds like a lot of Vitamin D, an anti-aging doctor named Dr. Perricone recommends an even higher dose. Vitamin D may be another method for those who had success with sun exposure.
One important thing to remember is you should get tests before you take a strong fungus medication. You will not see results if you do not have a fungus infection. I recommend others to get tested for vitamin deficiencies (even vitamin D) before they take extra supplements.
