Others have had this problem too. It is temporary, but when you're going bald, that doesn't help you feel better! It is obviously affecting something else and this thread seemed to indicate that everyone who experienced hair loss did better when they supplemented with potassium and magnesium.

I do not understand why so many people deny this when it happens to many people starting iodine! Something is going on. I don't know if it it's pushing mercury out through my scalp, as Trapper says, or if it's causing me not to be able to absorb my potassium and magnesium properly, or what. I just know I'm NOT the only one, and I'm frustrated with the deniers who think because it didn't happen to them, it doesn't have anything to do with iodine.
Everyone's body is different. I also have other things that it may be aggravating, such as
parasites and lupus. I'm just stating what IS happening to me, and
Iodine is the only change I've made, so go figure.
