Re: Could flukes come from chinese restaurants?

Yeah. It's really weird but my appetite to eat out in resturants in the future is dwindling although I guess if I ever do it mightbe after taking parazyme digestive supplements - they have bromelain in them and supposedly make the body a bad enviornment for parasites, but ya, risking it is just not worth it!

I think in particular salads might be some of the riskiest foods along with pork cause of Tapeworms (luckily we don't eat pork in my house actually) and also oriental food. Makes street vendors seem more shady as well, I barely would ever eat at them but now no way, seems any resturant canharbor anything now though. It's a strange thing to be aware of but I guess at least we have the knowledge to protect from further infections. I'm defenetely interested in more home cooking as well. It is ultimately cheaper anyway in most cases to make meals at home. I think I gotta learn how to steam fry stuff and make chicken with vegetable kind of dishes at home, that would be cool.
