Re: I feel the relevance has been stated multiple times Now....

MH can indeed control his website from placing tracking cookies on everyone's computer that visits his site.

It is NOT something that Homestead.com requires or does WITHOUT THE PERMISSION of the website owner (or permission that was gained when signing up for the website hosting).

In fact, if you'll do just a teeny-bit of reasearch on the Homestead site, you'll see that a person has to CHOOSE the package that collects and delivers information to the owners of the website...in fact, that package appears to cost more than the basic package. (OR there's an option for choosing to track website visitors/or not, on the cheaper package...I don't know which for sure, but if these lies continue to be posted I may just sign up so I can find out the absolute truth, and find out exactly what information is being collected from website visitors. But either way, the type of cookies MH's site is using IS OPTIONAL...and the option IS MH's alone. (Or, of course, the option is his to use a different web hosting company entirely, as well).

Curezone cookies are NOT tracking cookies...CZ HAS to use cookies to remember our profile preferences. If MH had a 'shopping cart' then those kind of cookies would be inevitable.

But MH's site gathers encoded information and IP addresses for no reason at all (that's apparent to me).

Once again, MH (whether advertantly or inadvertantly) originally picked a package from Homestead for his websites that installs tracking cookies on the computers of every person that visits his site. He CAN turn them off if he wants to, or he can be part of the "Big Brother" aspect of the computer world.

His choice, not mine. Homestead.com's truth, not mine.

P.S. Hmmm, I wonder which forum owner it is that CONSTANTLY talks about how the 'powers that be' toxify everything, and it's only our own knowledge and application of that knowledge that will save us/the world.

Yet when it comes to HIS website, he chooses to remain ignorant to the fact that he could gain the knowledge and apply the same, to stop being part of the 'powers that be'.
