Re: Thirst/urination during night

There are a couple of other ways too.

Epinephrine leads to increased urine flow.

http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/68/5/1046.abstract

"Infusion of epinephrine also produced a transient increase in urine flow "

And Cortisol reduces Anti-Diuretic Hormone (ADH).

http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/246650-differential

Cortisol has a negative feedback effect on ADH

Lower ADH = more pee pee

So even before you get to the point of having low aldosterone., high adrenaline and high cortisol both lead to frequent urination.

In fact, I think they are even more important.

Back in 2011, after doing lots and lots of meditation, I stopped urinating frequently. But I still craved salt, and when I did HTMA, my sodium was low.

So I really think the frequent urination is a sign of stress even more than it is of low aldosterone.
