I am going to try and find a place to test for Lyme around here. It is very likely for me. I grew up in a state that has deer ticks all over the place: I grew up in the woods in the mountains. Very likely that I was bit at some point and never knew it really. Lot's of friends have it and never knew for years if not decades. I had not known it was in Australia!!! I hope that you are feeling way better and having a much better quality of life now!
