Well, all I have to say to this fanatic is, the National Institutes of Health and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine disagree with him. They have been conducting spirit walks with end-of-life patients using psilocybin under carefully guided controls for many years now under the auspices of the DEA. The spiritual advancements demonstrated by these patients, to include improved family relationships, have been incredible and published in many peer-reviewed journals. It is true that there is much quackery in the New Age movement, but this doesn't qualify as part of that. So, the fanatic will have to find another angle into which to drive his wedge.
