Some people get a bullet fired into their head that leads to them awakening. Others, a two by four. My point is, there is no causal relationship.

Furthermore this "awaken into my true self" talk- by its own nature- spells out its shortcoming and falsehood. Why? Because a "true" self implies a "false" self from which you "awakened from", which is sheer archonic new age propaganda to further dissociate the human spirit from the mind and body. There is no "true self" that you awaken into. That's just silly. Your Self is as true and immediate as your mind and body that you read these words from. What could be more simple and natural?
