Re: Is L-Ornithine bad? Can't sleep... What else to try?

Hi, I second the recommendation for melatonin. I have trouble falling asleep, and melatonin is a lifesaver for me. I use the Natrol brand. In the past, I was concerned about taking it for a prolonged period of time. I discussed my concerns with my naturopathic doctor, and she thought it was fine. She says it acts as an antioxidant and she actually prescribes it in high doses to her cancer patients. (However, she said it should only be taken at night, because light can cause it to have an oxidizing effect.) You might give it a shot! Good luck.
