I absolutely agree with you. Excellent post.
No offense to anyone, but some ppl here will tend to (though the intention is positive) point ppl in a rigid direction, as if it were the one possible truth.

We all ought to be extremely selective with the info we take in, no matter what desperate times fate has taken us to.
