Gout questions
Does anyone here know anything about gout? Has anyone heard that fasting can
exacerbate it or bring it on? How about liver involvement? I am on 7th
day of a juice fast (beets, carrots, bitter greens, cuke) and also taking
oregano oil, olive leaf, and LBB. My right little toe has been giving me
trouble, off and on, since about the middle of June or so. Today I have
hardly been able to walk. I know gout is from uric acid, which you get
from eating large amounts of meat and drinking wine--neither of which I
do, though I used to eat meat (very small amounts). When not fasting my
protein comes chiefly from salmon, chicken and turkey, and sheep feta
cheese sprinkled on salads; also yoghurt.
Any comments and advice would be much appreciated!
