Re: Leads on GI intolerance to garlic/onion and isothyocyanate containing vegetables (i.e. Cruciferous vegetalbes)

Any idea why MSM (or garlic/onion) causes so much nerve/muscle pain (when I do end up taking some), and what if anything I can take to decrease it? I've been doing chelation for a week and although I do feel better, I'm not sure I see a major decrease yet in my reaction to MSM/garlic/onion/etc. I saw someone doing chelation mention how taking zinc and calcium helped decrease their chelation pain. I tried some for MSM caused pain and one or the other seems to have helped some though I'm a bit concerned with using both much. Would shooting joint and nerve pain be consistent with the introduction of thiol compounds when someone has high mercury? Ideas would be helpful.
