Re: Iodine cures MRSA and pneumonia

I work in a Surgical/Trauma ICU. We routinely use that chlorhexidine solution as a mouthwash on our patients every four hours to help prevent ventilator acquired pneumonia. However, it only works to a certain extent. I have seen MANY patients get all kinds of pneumonias even when this mouthwash is used. I can't see where this alone would cure actual pneumonia in your lungs. You need something more systemic that can eradicate it. Tweet
