Just to add I did have several stool samples done - all negative. My Gp thought I was crazy and uppity when I pushed for treatment for parasites - we parted ways - It was not easy to find a doctor experienced enough with parasites to treat me but eventually I did and several months into treatment- all the while bringing in samples I passed the tapeworm. I was already aware I had hookworm/roundworm and of a very serious nature.I was called delusional by some doctors but not by my true friends who knew me and knew I never was one for drama or not being aware of my own body.My travel history alone was all that was needed by one doctor when he was asked to help out with my case. I will add that the majority of my treatment was paid for by me-as I wanted to get back to my real self again after such a nightmare of getting ill and then the nightmare of tying to get medical help.
