Re: Lugol's for Kids?

Ok. There are two powders, not to be taken at the same time (to avoid nausea)

Now food has a good zinc lozenge with elderberry. This is a good base for the powder. (zinc is often low among kids too)
good for the immune system, virus infections.
The only problem is that you cant combine this with magnesium = nausea; thats why these have to be given seperately.

So, crush the lozenges, put in vit B powder, ascorbic acid, selenium, vit E, iron gluconate: whatever you believe the kids need. Stay out of pills with dicalcium phosphate; they taste bad and inhibit uptake of minerals. Better to purchase powders. purebulk .com is one choice. Now food and others too.

Magnesium; Get some magnesium gluconate, or magnesium ascorbate. Then put in the same as above.

For a better taste; have some bourbon vanilla powder in it, some extra powdered Sugar if needed.
If you can get hold of berry powders, like bilberry powder; this is a super supplement, and adds to the good taste, the kids will ask for more:)
