I have given my kids, now teenagers, loads of iodine. I also have given other kids iodine, down to 5 years of age. Also a few boys with ADHD, they improved greatly.
- Trappers grandson is probably the kid that have had most
Iodine in the world, from his birth, so yes there is some experience around here. Also search posts of Andy 82, his sons skyrocketed their performance after iodine.
What I would start with is the full protocol, not only iodine.
Especially magnesium is very low in kids, one trick is to give them boron (borax) - this will balance the magnesium - calcium.
It is not as difficult as one should think; purchasing powders of magnesium, vit B, C, selenium (sprinkle their food by opening a capsule) Plenty of salt etc.
So, just a list of what has been obtained; all in my experiences, all in my history here at the forum, but you will have to search to find the posts.
- less days off from school, hardly ever ill anymore.
- frequent urination gone, enuresis gone; many cases!!.
- alopecia gone (ten year old girl)
- school grades UP; especially in math amd writing but also artistic subjects. This has been reported in almost all of my cases, not only from parents, but also their teachers.
(have a look at grizz`s post below; the thyroid video of mr Brownstein, there is a very interesting spelling test there)
- excema, skin issues gone, or much better
- less emotional dramas, calmer.
- more energy, stamina in sports.
- asperger symptoms much better, social skills improved.
- head aches gone (salt, salt and more salt)
- less anxiety.
- less asthma medication needed
etc.
The only detox symptoms I have seen much of, is anger, temper tantrums. This could be different if yours have received the full vaccine program. But in general kids and animals dont have the build up of toxins like we adults have.
How to do it; put
Iodine and borax + vit c in a juice they like. (dissolve the borax in a little hot water first) And magnesium (citrate, malate, glycinate are good) With meals.
Older kids; from 10 years and up, usually can take capsules.
Vit C; natrium ascorbate in savory meals
Ascorbic acid in fruity drinks, juice. Always.
Vit B; there are some good liquid ones that taste good
Also Magnesium are found in liquid versions for kids; stay away from calcium supplements.
If they drink milk;
Iodine can be put in it, easily, no taste. Full fat of course, raw if possible.
Dosage; divide per body weight and severity of issues, not age, IMO.
When my kids were smaller (before iodine) I made a vitamin/ mineral powder myself and gave them; tasted really good; so never a problem to get it down. If you like I can give you the recipe.
