I recommend you do a micronutrient test for them to see what vitamins & minerals they're lacking. It's pricey but worth it. Unless they've been diagnosed as Iodine deficient, then please do NOT supplement with iodine. Our bodies need trace amounts & we get over the recommendeded dose through our foods, milk already has Iodine in there, eggs have iodine, cheese, fish etc. I implore all see through tests what is lacking before supplementing with any one trace mineral. There have been numerous horror stories from people doing high dose iodine, most of which ended up damaging their thyroid & now left with hashimoto. Yes high dose Iodine can do that.please don't do that to your kids unless you've full tested to see what they are lacking
Asthma is an adrenal insufficiency issue, you're right it's not a lung issue. Give him lots of high vitamin c foods, whole foods not the ascorbic acid they sell in stores, papaya, guava, kiwis, oranges etc, and whole foid b vitamins especially vitamin b5 (pantothenic acid)through bee pollen & nutritional yeast, the adrenals feed on these, you'll notice his asthma will disappear once his adrenals are strengthened.he also needs sleep to restore weak adrenals.
The elder son has problems with neurotransmitter which could be as a result of numerous factors, please get micronutrient testing available at any lab test now, no doctor needed, call the lab closest to you & see of they have them in Stock, my lab runs out of them sometimes because it's one of the more popular tests. You might want to do a basal body temperature each morning before they get out of bed to run out any hypothyroid issues, 97.6 degrees farenheit & below indictates hypothyroidism. Do NOT use iodine if this is the case, if antibodies are involved, it will make it worse
