Re: Retraining the bowel/colon rejuvenation
Well my history is not the same but I have a very slow colon. Parctically doesn't have the waves of movement, no matter what. The surgeons wanted to remove my entire colon 3 years ago but I have founght that. If it did not work I would have to be on a bag the rest of my life and I am not ready to risk that.
The movement of the colon is called (cant spell) parasthesis. It is the small muscle movements that move down the line to propel the waste out. If those movements are not happening, then it will not push anything thru very fast, if at all. That give it time for the waste to become hard or packed and risk of impaction. I had a obstruction 2 years ago because an adhesion had twisted around my bowel. I don't know very much about the colon cleansing, and all the other things you have tried but to keep things moving and keep out of surgery I have a routine. It works well enough as long as I don't have to take
Antibiotics . They throw a big monkey wrench in to the mix.
I take 3-4 400 mg. magnesium capsules morning and night, as well as using Miralax if that doesn't keep things going. If I get into a bad place where nothing is working you can take the Miralax every two hours until you get relief.
Truth be told, there is not real relief from the issues, as far as I have found. But this keeps things going. I also take 3 Ultimate Flora pro biotics each day, more if I have to take
Antibiotics . The thing is, if your colon has been damaged enough and the walls of the colon are weak, there is very little that will make them og back to before the damage. Mine were damaged from years of severe constipation. But if you can[t ge4t things going that is my advice on that area. My biggest issues are with the Bloating and discomfort associated with that. I feel like a barrel. I had to take
Antibiotics 6 weeks ago and I am still having bad problems. I just did a cat scan but they couldn't see anything wrong so I guess it is just out of whack from that. Hope this helps.
