Re: My personal view on the differences between Wilson & TEI practitioners when it comes to HTMA analysis
Onwards,
I agree about finding the right practitioner. I've spoken with two TEI practitioners, one of whom ranted and raved for about 20 minutes about how evil ARL is, how my practitioner had no idea what she's doing, and how I was basically going to die because I eat a banana every day. All this while yelling at her dogs in the background. While she offered some interesting insights into my tests, I would never use her just because of her manner.I was almost in a panic attack by the time our conversation ended.
I appreciate how it seems TEI offers more insights into infections, and I may try them out at some point in the future.
I still use ARL for the time being though. I am very grateful that my practitioner is a proponent of taking things slow. If I'm ever feeling uncomfortable she's usually the first to tell me to back off my supplements. She's never pushed me to do
Coffee-Enema or sauna. Also, she uses Standard Process supplements. While they are not always allergy friendly I do appreciate that they are whole food, organic supplements. We promote organic, whole foods all the time here, so why put synthetic pills in our bodies to heal them? I've heard from other practitioners that SP supplements are not appropriate for NB but was never really given a reason why.
One thing I do regret is that it took so long for my
parasite infection to be discovered. However, my digestion ratio is almost perfect now so maybe it's good that I'm getting rid of them at a time when my digestion is able to tolerate it.
Also, she does encourage the use of calcium which my instincts have told me for a long time is not a good choice for me. However, she doesn't get upset when I tell her I'm not taking it. She leaves that up to me.
That's just my two cents worth. I think there are valid reasons to choose TEI over ARL and the reverse is true as well. But, I think the practitioner can really make or break either program.
