Thank you MST. Some of those sounded like what I'm familiar with. Once you have a supernatural experience with God, it is hard to look at things the same way. None of us understand it well...as you can tell by many of the comments...however, their faith was increased.
Hopefully with prayer and close observation with the leading of the Holy Spirit we may discern. The main thing that I came away with was the desire of the person.....but the right type of desire of the things of God. A good example would be King Solomon's desire for wisdom. What he wanted to do with that wisdom, was.... "Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?" (I Kings 3:9) God was pleased.
I also posted a man's testimony over in the christian debate forum you may want to listen too. Of course his is more prophetic for the nation and not just about himself....but touches my heart greatly.
