I did not realize Rainy had posted these videos before.
How do you find the balance in all of this, dear one? These reactions from people...are they demons manifesting...yet not being released?
All I have is my own personal experience and that was God speaking to me, and telling me to read my bible and having the wonderful, intense feeling of love all around me. I became a new person at that moment. I never jerked, fell, or sounded like an animal.
Plus I have the examples that I have read in the bible of what demon possessed people acted like and what the true believers acted like once the Holy Spirit came upon them.
It's possible there are more experiences with the Holy Spirit that are not written in the bible, however, I would think that the story of Pentecost would have been more richly told and in great detail....because it was the beginning of the church being gifted by the Holy Spirit.
I would believe that everything that was out of the ordinary would have been noticed and mentioned. However, I could be wrong. Something was going on that was out of the ordinary to cause outsiders to speculate that the "Spirit filled" were drunk in the middle of the day.
I don't know if speaking in actual different languages is enough to make someone think they were drunk or not. I'm not sure I would think that would be a sign of being drunk, unless the language seemed not to be a normal language. I feel certain that the people of the bible where exposed to many different languages, just like we are today. I may not understand everything that a person that speaks another language says but I have had enough contact with some of the sounds to recognize what language they are speaking. I would not think that was strange or drunk if I heard people speaking real languages.
However, I have one issue with speaking in tongues of today and that is the people in the bible understood what the "tongue speakers" were saying in their own language. Why are we not seeing much of that today? (ok, perhaps we can answer that another time)
I know you will continue to test the spirits...but all it takes is one real bad one, that you can't shake off, to throw you to the ground and step on your heart and cause you to get so depressed or so mesmerized, that you can't call out to God for help.
I don't know if you use the bible to test the spirits with...but I hope you will, for one can not very well test for lying spirits if they have one of them inside themselves, pretending to be the Holy Spirit.
I don't want to hinder the Holy Spirit in anyone's life...that would be quite serious, but so is our obedience to Him who works only in Truths. But ultimately, we all have to make that call for ourselves....I pray we all choose wisely.
Anyway....that's my two cents. We love you dear one.
