How old are you?

Hi, everybody

Today I turned 32 and I've been sick for almost exactly 3 years.
Since I got sick my life changed and will never be the same. I'm getting better but I don't think I'll ever regain my strength to be able to do things I used to do.
I'm trying to decide whether it's a good thing that my life changed so dramatically or a bad thing. In a way I became a better person but I miss so much of my old life...
Anyway past few years it's been a transformative experience for me although very painful at times.

What I noticed is that a lot of people go through something in life when they hit their late 20-s or reach 30 mark that changes them forever. They either get sick, experience a major loss, get addicted or recover from addictions and become spiritual, get a divorce or get involved in a destructive relationship and so on... People have something happen to them that's beyond their control and they have to change if they want it or not...

It's so intriguing to me to that I want to ask if anyone noticed that as well?
And how old are you now and when did you first get sick?...
