Re:

I eat lots of potatoes, a bag a week. Home fries for breakfast fried in lard, french fries for lunch fried in coconut oil, and baked potato for dinner, baked in an oven and topped with half a pint of sour cream. As a snack, I keep a few small red ones in my knapsack when I go hiking, and they also make great defensive weapons. Also, they make great bait for fishing if you slice them right , they don't come off the hook. I once caught a 9 pound bass on a strip of potato attached to a daredevil. Can also put them in the tailpipe of the neighbor's car when he pisses me off, so his motor won't start. Try halving a potato and hollowing out the middle, then stuff it with mashed potatoes and re-affix the two halves with bailing wire and bake. You can also stuff them with broccoli, carrots, etc. or a puree of vegetables, including beets. the list is endless. I love the insulin surge I get from mashed potatoes also, especially if I mix sugar with them, then you get sweet potatoes. I hate yams though, they're not really potatoes, rather imposters, posers.

Potatoes, the other white tuber.
