Re: Mirena removed almost 2 months ago. Advice needed, please

Thank you for your reply.

it is a very difficult thing to go through, and I hope it starts to clear up for the both of us. I think it would be a good idea to keep in touch to give each other progress reports and support to get through it.

Have you noticed a cycle with your symptoms and ovulation, and during/before your period?

I have found that doing a diary of my symptoms has helped me establish a pattern between hormone fluctuations and my anxiety/depression.

I agree with you, keeping busy seems to be the best method, however sometimes the Depression and anxiety overwhelms me.

What helps for me (marginally):

Reassuring myself it is the aftermath of the Mirena
Eating very healthily (no wheat, dairy or red meat) and drinking chamomile tea
Having long baths
I also try to focus my mind on things I used to enjoy, in the hope that I will be doing them again soon

The only thing I don't do much of is exercise, so I think I need to work on that, although it is hard after working full-time!
