Hi! I hope you don't mind reading this long post I just hoped someone could help me with my problems!
I have candida and have had it for only a few months, the only symptoms I have are that I can't really digest anything and so food just sits in my stomach and i get bloated and sometimes gassy etc i also sometimes feel quite fatigued.. I've tried many things so far to help such as adding lots of herbs and spices to my diet, taking digestive enzymes, making sure my foods are cooked in an easily digestible way like curries, soups and stews, not drinking while eating, not drinking cold beverages, taking home made sauerkraut and kefir, making my own ginger, peppermint and fennel teas, doing yoga, trying to minimize stress, digestive bitters, getting at least 6 hours sleep (which is difficult as i have insomnia) I've cut out all foods I'm intolerant to, take probiotics, chew my food a lot, taking lemon in warm water before meals.. I've been doing this all for a while, but I still have food constantly sitting in my stomach causing me indigestion and discomfort.. I have tried HCL in the past but stopped because I was never getting any burning after taking many capsules so I was worried about taking too many.. I just don't know how i could have ended up with such low stomach acid and everything when I'm only 21 and never touched any antacids or anything
I'm not quite sure what to do at this point.. I can eat blended soup and it still sits in my stomach.. I'm not seeing any improvement at all and don't know what to do.. I am soon going to try a fast with some psyllium and Bentonite shakes, but will that actually help? i also want to do parasite cleansing and liver flushes.. I am not really constipated.. my food just has a lot of trouble moving down.. Will it be better for me to take antifungals or herb supplements or something?? I do take coconut oil and s. boulardii but that's it.. I haven't experienced much die off so far and I'm worried I'll be stuck like this forever..
