I'm sorry you're struggling with bad digestion too :\ it's really horrible because it can be so hard to fix and when you feel like you have fixed it it just goes back lol! I actually just got retested for candida and apparently I don't have it anymore.. which is extremely weird because I don't feel much different! I guess my digestion is just so screwed up that candida wasn't really causing it in the first place! I don't seem to have much bad bacteria either.. as I have more problems eating protein that carbs. I think my main problem now is that I have a huge lack of enzymes and stomach acids, though it's very hard to fix up without being able to eat any raw, enzyme rich foods! Cooked foods seem to be easier to digest, but at the same time they take much much longer to move through the body, i think it's because of all the water they lose during cooking.. and it's mostly difficult when it's meat or other kinds of protein.. maybe that's why you feel better when you eat the cooked veggies! I'm going to start juicing, having home made broths with my food (which really helps with the digestion of cooked foods) as well as fermented foods and maybe do food combining as well so that things will be easier on my digestive system.. maybe you can try doing some of these things as well!
I probably am going to do a juice fast for a bit soon as well.. so I can get some enzymes and minerals into my body and detox, but I don't want to rely on fasting to fix my gut so I don't want to do it too much!
