That was a link to a good website. We eat moong soup with rice regularly. My recipe has a small amount of molasses in it, though.

But for post fast I boil moong beans and only drink water.

Some Ayurvedic centers in India put patients on moong bean Water Fast because it is a cleanser. In my mind that is starvation but many still do it.
