Re: I got my DMPS challenge test results today. Now what?
I wasn't able to clear up my worm infection until I took an actual deworming drug (albendazole). None of the natural anti-
parasite agents worked, and even the meds pyrantel and vermox (tapeworm med) didn't work. Knock on wood I am worm-free now as far as I can tell.. I can only imagine how many years I was infested thanks to my mercury-caused lack of an immune system.
Rather than relying on the one-time big doses of DMSA and ALA, you should do like Cutler recommends and take small doses all throughout the day and night. As for the DMPS, that is great that you have a professional who is willing to give you DMPS injections. I didn't bother trying to find one and just bought oral DMPS myself online.
For your constipation, that's a tough one. My problem when I was sick was that my bowels moved too fast. My intestines were so full of worms and who knows what else, food used to fly out of me half-digested. I used to have 3-4 huge loose bowel movements every day. Nowadays I have just a couple of regular firm ones. Either way, our problems are probably similar: lack of proper gut flora to help you digest. Get rid of the metals, take a dewormer, and start drinking homemade kefir along with your sauerkraut to help repopulate your gut with good bacteria. Try S. Boulardii as well.
