I know that Andreas didn't believe in taking anti-
parasite herbs, which I think are absolutely necessary.

I agree,
Herbert Shelton was also against taking herbs to kill internal parasites, and may have suffered unecessarily at the end of its life because of that.
You have to understand that internal
parasites (especially helminths) have evolved in humans and animals for thousands of years, they don't care if you eat raw foods or junk foods. They will alter your immune system, they will eat your foods, they will suck your blood, they will irritate, cut, pierce, scratch your tissues, they will secrete poisons and wastes.
There is evidence of the manupilation and damages they can cause in a human body :

So eating raw foods is not an argument, having primitive habits is not an argument.
Maybe some humans with a strong constitution have a immune system which has evolved to kill some kinds of local internal parasites, but with a worldwide market, humans traveling everywhere, foods exported and imported everywhere, an increase of human population and human interaction, water networks, wastes networks, pets in the house, i don't think a immune system can deal with all these attacks. Maybe in some conditions it can, or maybe not.
