Re: desperately need help, feeling trapped
There is a researcher named Richard Van Konynenburg who's work I think would help you. He was a chronic fatigue researcher and wrote a simplified methylation protocol to help people rebuild their glutathione stores. Most people seem to have problems during a traumatic event that causes them to be sick and they never really recover from it. Others have been sick their entire lives, it's all that they can remember. There is another researcher named Amy Yasko that focused on treating autistic kids from examining their genes, finding any weak spots and getting certain pathways to start running better. However, it costs alot to get the tests run. What Dr. Konynenburg did was design a protocol that tried to make up for genetic variances without really spending the money to test for them.
These genetic variances are called single nucleotide polymorphisms or snp's. So, the chemical sensitivities sound like you have a stressed detox pathway somewhere. I guess you would call this field of medicine nutrigenomics in a way. You can find Dr. Konynenburg's protocol on the pheonix rising website. Or just google his name and simplfied methylation protocol and you will see it. If you wanted to find out if you do have any wierd genetic variances a relatively cheap way to do it would be to order the saliva test from 23andme.com. Periodically, they have 99 dollar specials. Some argue how accurate the tests are but I just assume the results are right. There is some leg work to find out exactly your genetic makeup so to speak. There is a section dedicated to the study of these genes on the website..

You can just post that you need help and someone will help you out with it.
Another good website is

I try to use this as a guide once I got my results back. Also, taking a
coffee enema with activated charcoal was probably the greatest detox measure that I ever tried. It builds glutathione s transferase in the process as well. But, I would recommend those.
Have you ever heard of mcs being caused by a rapid phase 1 enzyme and a slow phase 2 detox pathway in the liver. I think I read that somewhere. Also, it could just mean that your glutathione is a little low and you aren't detoxing as well as you should.
But, regardless if you can build up your glutathione, which Dr. Konynenburg's protocol is designed to do then you should detox much better. Some have had a prolonged herxheimer reaction because they finally took more appropriate supplements for their body and pretty much opened the flood gates so to speak. But, again the coffee enema's should help with that. Also, you have to go out and buy the coffee specifically made for coffee enema's. Normal coffee has been treated with many pesticides. I really wouldn't even stray with organic coffee from the store. Your safest bet would be to buy it from amazon from the sources that specifically make it for that. The Gerson Therapy.
For candida, Dr. Comb's makes a very decent and affordable plan. Also, you could try to make a plan from his if you wanted. Thorne sells Formula SF722 at iherb. Which prevents the yeast from transforming into the fungal form. Then I just took a product called candidase that has cellulase in it and it is supposed to digest the outer coating of the yeasts. Biotin is what the healthy bacteria make to fight the bad bacteria. Maybe try taking some biotin as well. Then the coffee enema's should handle alot of the detox stuff. Taking activated charcoal will bind with the bile and prevent you from reabsorbing the toxins during the enema. So, I hope this helps.
The pheonix rising website is a pretty good search engine too.
