Yes, there is such a thing as too much water..However, I think it depends on the diet. With the way a lot of people eat today with the fast food and all it is necessary to drink 6-8 glasses a day. For others who include lots of fresh fruits and veggies i don't feel it would be necessary to drink all of that. I still go by the urine, if it is too dark, you need water..if it is pale yellow..okay.
