Re: SAM-e and adrenals fatigue - anyone tried?

Absolutely Lilarose - keeping the faith is essential to healing. Sometimes i lose it! hhahaa...but at those times i realise most i have no choice but to get well...and this is one of those life lessons we all get in different shapes and forms to help us better ourselves.

I am familiar with the fear loop. I have used EFT in the past with great effect - immediate effects can be felt doing the session. It's the 'tapping' thing people talk about - you're probably familiar.
The guy i really loved to follow on YT is Robert Smith 'faster EFT' - highly recommend him as he lists videos and sessions he does for free on YT. He deals with specific fears too so you can hunt your devil out on there and tap it away! :-)
It seems a silly concept perhaps initially - but makes sense in the body meridian sense - aka chinese medicine principles. Stimulating the points which relate to body parts that 'hold' memory of fear through tapping and saying specific 'statements' about that fear. I felt silly doing it initially - but when desperately ill one will try anything. I was amazed at how effective it was for panic/fear.

The SAM-e arrived this morning! I'll update tomorrow on how it went - have to take it well away from meals apparently - difficult with adrenal F and hypoglycemia - eating every 3 hours!

As an aside note - i took 5-HTP yesterday - 50g - was relaxed before taking it - didn't feel much effect after. I'm a sensitive thing to all types of medicine so will try it again when i wake up - the time i feel the worst!

I agree mediatation is excellent - also deep belly breathing exercise. It has saved me at times.

A friend once told me that fear is actually just the fear OF fear itself. We never like to feel scared - and can become fearful of fear once we taste it. When i sat and thought about this deeply it actually helped me feel less fearful of the panic attacks and jitters. I began to accept them when they came. They would pass by easier this way.

Good luck to you on your healing journey
x
