Re: Methyl and methylmercuryformation-?

Yes exactly, if the methyl is binding to the metals it can leave one being 'under-methylated' surely?

Having had a huge allergic reaction to something unknown (possibly pollen from flower dissection class at school!) the year after i had 4 Amalgams at age 13 - i went into anaphylactic shock - whole body covered in welts, constant vomiting and collapse - the doctor gave me penicillin - i took one pill and went through it all again - the doctor then gave me anti-histamines and i slowly recovered.

I've never taken penicillin since - despite doctors brushing it off as i possibly have 'grown out' of that allergy (they've mistakenly prescribed it despite it being on my records) - i never want to experience ana. shock EVER again.

I now believe high histamine levels - caused by what i don't know - created under-methylation - and the mercury load creating a worse under-methylation state bringing on severe allergy reaction to everything.

Now i'm 34 and never treated histamine/methyl levels and grinding out 2 mercury filling with night-time bruxism - i truly think the Adrenal insufficiency, high histamine, under-methylation, hypothyroid, and heavy metal load/candida is all the result of one root cause.
Is it mercury? It gravitates towards the Pituitary, hypothalamus, thyroid and adrenals. Creates sulfur imbalances, possibly induces methylation problems.

Like many on here - i'm going through tests to determine exactly the level of damage by the (currently) unknown root cause. But i hate to treat the imbalances without knowing the root cause.

Although i believe in supplementation to help us out of the holes we find ourselves in with our health - (i have SAM-e on order) if we don't find out where the true inbalance lies which results in a cascade of imbalances - we'll spend the rest of our lives on supplements treating symptoms and imbalances, which is no different to spending one's life on pharmaceuticals treating symptoms. Although, admittedly supplements don't generally cause as many side-effects and are certainly not as toxic! One still have to be very careful depending on condition of course.

Great info Omo - your posts always enlighten :-)
