Methyl and methylmercuryformation-?
That is very true. I am considering TMS and enzymes for my own next supplement purchase because of having read about Sam-E and methylation this past evening. I live currently with 11 amalgams.
While ther is an income on the way for removing these pain-in-the-teeth things, I am doing what I can to improve life quality, though. I read a warning about using MSM because of how easy it is for a methyl to bind with mercury to create a methylmercury (organic mercury), which is the dangerous one for the body... This is how inorganic mercury from
Amalgams becomes organic by a conversion process in the gut- the digestion of easy carbs creates a methane byproduct, the mercury mixes with it, and because it has a methyl compound attached, it is absorbed into the bloodstream.
On the other hand, though, a methyl-group supplement properly balanced with B6, B12 and folic acid may balance out the concerns. I'm having snappy joints and such, so I'm taking the material I read seriously. Know anyone who's used SAM-E/MSM/TSM (forms of methyl-compounds)? It's definately liver support I'm shooting for.
